We tested again (with a vanilla server this time) and it went on just fine. Must be an issue with some plugins. I'll edit this post in case I find out. Also, a suggestion: In the client.dll, is it possible to generate a fake SteamID bound to an user's HDD in case he's using a pirated version? RevEmu used to do that but not anymore on GoldSrc games. It's way too frustrating banning someone who's using STEAM_ID_LAN just to see him come back in a few minutes. |

They will just not use that client.dll and thats all. Generate steamid is a goal of emulators, not client.dll, I think. |

But in that case, we would kick players using STEAM_ID_LAN with a message asking them to download the emulator (or DLL if it's possible) at a certain website. If it can't be done though the DLL then I guess it can't be helped, since RevEmu was the only emulator that did such thing as far as I know.

Use dproto plugin on a server, it has options you are thinking about. |

Okay, I've been using the client DLL and it works like a charm. There's one thing I noticed while using the hl.dll in our test server, it's that I'm getting stuck in the elevator more often using it (simply jumping right after the elevator stops doesn't get me stuck though). Any chance you know the cause? |

I don't think that in steam they changed unstuck somehow.One thing I heard that 1000 fps on RHLL AG servers was cause of lift stucks. After they lowered fps stucks are gone.
